The notes we use are named after the first seven letters of the Alphabet:
This is a pattern that continues through the keyboard. We can start on any note and we will be able to go back to the same note name after seven notes landing again on the eighth note which will have the same name:
For example, if we start from C, the fifth note going forward will be G.
We can also go backwards from any note, the order is:
So, if we count from A, 5 notes down, the note will be E. Notice that we count FROM the note A, including the target note, E.
In other countries, such as Spain, Italy, Romania, And all Latin America people use different names:
